My Funny Valentine

Here's my funny Valentine outfit. I originally had a very sweet and romantic number all planned out, but just wasn't in the mood. Maybe I'll post that look on Friday. Instead I felt the need to mix some boyish pieces together with a few feminine touches for a more low-key date night style.

Isn't this little origami
heart necklace lovely?! I was approached by
Go Jewellery to pick something I would love to style and even though it was a tough decision, I knew that I wanted this little red heart. I also love that their updated website now has animations of the safari animal collection
(I almost chose the adorable rabbit, Charmaine), it's too cute.

Photos by Cole. Thanks, darling!
Coat and shorts: F21Old jacket: Ann TaylorBlouse: thriftedHat and tights: TargetVintage purse: borrowed from momHeart sunglasses: Urban OutfittersVintage Ferragamos: ebayCherish heart necklace: c/o Go Jewellery...Now I want to show you some photos of true love...

True love is standing in a foot of snow with freezing toes and taking endless pictures of your silly wife while she strikes her awkward poses. Cole is my true love Valentine. He is always so supportive of my endeavors and no matter the weather, is always willing to be my photographer. I love you darling! You are the best Valentine a girl could ever ask for. On another note, check out Cole's vintage coat. I bought it back in October at the Salvation Army for a song. It was tucked in the womens rack and I grabbed it for myself and when I realized it was a mens I was both equally excited
(it was perfect for Cole) and disappointed
(I really wanted it for myself). It's a Woolrich coat and judging by the tags that were still attached
(yep it was unworn) I would say it was from the late sixties early seventies.
Yours,
