ModCloth Rhythm and Boot: the Indie Look

When I was asked by the lovely people at
ModCloth to sport the amazing "
Today I Met the Perfect Boot" in an indie music style, I screeched with delight! At first, it was a little nerve racking trying to pull together an outfit that screamed indie, but then I realized I was being a bit ridiculous and forgetting what indie really represented. Indie, to me, means being myself and doing what I like regardless of anyone else's standards. So instead of worrying about whether or not my look would be indie enough, I decided to simply pull together my dream outfit that I would wear to one of my favorite concerts. Voilà!
