Slow Start & A Giveaway!


Morning loves! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mine was wonderful but I'm having a very lazy morning today. Too bad I have to get on off to work...

Yesterday I spent the day with my niece and took her to the Jonas Brothers concert last night. Yes I said Jonas Brothers. In the pouring rain in an outdoor venue nonetheless. And it poured the entire concert. Thank goodness for ponchos. I guess. I'm still waterlogged this morning. Plus I didn't get home until pretty late so that explains my sluggishness this morning.

But I do have some exciting news to talk about this morning. It's giveaway time! The wonderful people over at DesignerApparel.com are offering a wonderful prize to followers of The Alternative Wife. I've been perusing it over the past few months and the thing I love about it is the ease and convenience of shopping by brand, category or even specific need. They even have a Mother of the Bride Dresses section. I so wish I knew of this last year while shopping with my mother-in-law for a dress for our wedding. We searched department stores and bridal boutiques alike but she had such a difficult time finding something that would work for her. This would have made the experience much easier.
