the iris apfel video that i posted monday made me so darn happy that i can't resist sharing another. this version sheds a bit more light on her life story and stylistic sources than its predecessor. that bird really has all the right ideas:

i also loved seeing her featured ~ wearing all her own clothes ~ in this month's W magazine, as part of the 'first ladies (we love iris)' editorial. her relevance and influence just won't quit! nor should they.
