TONIGHT'STHENIGHT

Ph. by Nikki Tamayo
It's here, it's here! In just a few short hours, I'll finally be seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part one! GAH SO EXCITED! I'm so excited it doesn't even matter that it snowed nearly a foot last night and that I have to bus to the theaters in totally brrr weather. Nope, I am completely prepared to trudge through unshoveled sidewalks and bear 60 km winds to get there. Don't even care if I freeze to death on my way home either--at least I'd have seen the film, and died happy right?

On another note, thought I'd set the mood today by wearing an all black outfit. The dark tones imply seriousness and maturity, the sheer adds mystery, the booties add a bit of sex and all together, I'd say it all kind of represents the last book, no? Plus, it kind of helps that it makes me feel pretty darn magical.

I know, I know...you're all probably wondering why on Earth I'm so smiley, but you'd be smiling too if you a) bought this fabulous vintage fur collar for $1.50 b) got an amazing haul at the Value Village 50% of sale on Monday and c) bought yourself a pair of shoes you fell in love with over the weekend, which just happen to be Sam Edelmans. Anyways, I'll be busy freaking out in anticipation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows for the next few days, so in case I don't post soon-ish, prepare yourselves for some outfit pics of my new thrifted finds and my sexy new shoes ;)

Eleven more days until Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part one comes out! ASDLKJHSDF! Words cannot describe my excitement, so instead here is a dark, billowy outfit to get y'all in the mood. Harry Potter fan or not, I think you'll agree it's time to break out the dark colours and luxe fabrics anyway, now that it's November (!)

Jeez, time flies by pretty fast when you're busy running around school finishing up assignments. I'm pretty glad term one is coming to an end soon so I can stop panicking about handing things in. Now I can relax and focus on that vintage store I've been meaning to get started (it's gonna happen!) if even for a little while...'Cause I know things are just starting to pick up over in photography class!

Hey lovers, I hope you're ready for more travel pictures. To be honest, although I love traveling and taking loads of pictures, I'm getting kind of sick at the process of compiling all of them into one little post (takes about two days, I'm telling you!) so this is going to be the last monster travel post for a very long time.

Anyway, these pictures are from my four-day trip to Toronto last weekend--spent touring the city, vintage shopping with my lovely Canadian counterparts, Alice from Cat's Miu and Elizabeth from Chic Heroin, visiting the Niagara Falls, checking out museums, etc. etc...

Wearing my favourite jacket from the H&M garden collection, thrifted AC/DC shirt, AA shorts, H&M tights, vintage combats and leather backpack from that leather outlet in Florence.
My beloved leather back pack, which since buying in Heaven (aka that leather outlet) I have used all most everyday.

Alice and Elizabeth, you two are effing GORGEOUS!
This picture was required as proof that I actually went down and saw the falls for myself. Note the lame poncho, the first and last poncho I will EVER wear in my life.
Wearing a vintage shirt and denim vest, random hoody, GAP jacket, thrifted Guess jeans, and Converse shoes.
Wearing an H&M hat, shirt and tights, vintage blazer, vintage Levi's shorts and vintage combats.
