Bonjourrrr lovers.

How was everyone's Monday? I sure had a good one! Got a lovely package in the mail, pumped some iron (you should see my guns, haha) and of course, I worked on that interview video! Still not quite done, but then again...perfection takes time:) I'm thinking I'll be able have it up and ready by Wednesday or Thursday, but until then, I hope my day/night take on the Cleopatra look will suffice.

Also, before I go, I gotta say--loved hearing about everyone's achievements and future goals, you guys are an optimistic bunch!

How is everyone's weekend so far?

Mine's been off to a great start, and I'm already dreading Monday (two tests and an optometrist appointment!) However, I'm really looking forward to showing you guys the video, and a surprise as well....

What's a girl to do when presented with a fresh new canvas in the form of this body-hugging little black dress? That's the question I asked myself when I was contacted by AKIRA Online to participate in a little blogger contest. Whoever wears it best gets a gift certificate to their online shop, and so I was more than eager to try my hand at styling this fab dress.

Add a splashy printed jacket, some glittery tights, my favourite new furry hat and I'm ready to go! Wish me luck, lovers;)

Obviously I've been very busy (balanching homework and friends and etc.) to have been gone for FIVE freakin' days, and I'm super sorry for not getting back with your comments! Speaking of which, I was really intrigued by the comments on my fur-coat post--blown away by the amount of people with the same views and the very polite disagreements:)Only one blatant anonymous comment...woo hoo!

Anyways, I promise to reply ASAP. But I've got to go to bed right now...waking up early for photography class is not fun.

Found this amazing floral cardi at the thriftstore and I'm in love. It's really sheer, but the colour is really bold--just perfect for layering!

As for the mystery ginger, it is none other than the gorgeous ZOE! She's not really a redhead--yep, it's a wig and those freckles were expertly applied;) She is pretty convincing though, huh?

Hey guys! I am finally back from camping:) It wasn't as bad as I thought, thank goodness, and our cabin was not nearly as rustic! Got to go to the beach, which was really nice, even though it was cloudy. I had to wait for the clouds to clear to take most of the shots!

Anyways, there's really nothing like home, I tell yah, and I am glad to be back:) I am also super glad that you liked the new blog/site! Yaaaaaay! Thanks so much for the feedback and comments too, I really appreciate them.

OKAY. So photobucket decided to be a dick and I have exceed my bandwidth. AGAIN. Remember when that happened back in March? Or was that April? This sort of thing usually happens when I get an uprise in hits:) Which isn't always a bad thing, I suppose.

Hey everyone, sorry for being a crap blogger! I've been updating a lot less, but only because life has taken quite a u-turn...you know, with the whole transferring schools and everything. But the meet up with the school went great actually. I'm quite impressed with the facility, and I'm so pumped for school in September--although I thought I'd never say it!

As far my non-school life, it's going pretty well. My 16th year is about to end and I'm kind of sad about that. 16 was such a good year...I just want to be 16 forever, at least for a little bit longer.

Anyways, my three day weekend consisted of crazy-beautiful sunshine, getting along with a crazy dog, watching a short film by a local director, listening to guitar playing, failing to make orange slushies, two photo shoots, and raiding my closet for clothes to sell (cough cough).

PS. A lot of you have been asking about the photography in the last post...All of my outdoor shots are taken by my sister, Kristine. She just keeps on getting better at it:)

Gahhh! Super busy week ahead! Aside from more homework, prepping for tests, running errands, teaching photography to middle school kids twice a week (oh, didn't I tell you about my new job?) and finding time to chill with friends, I now have to deal with a super-exciting/nerve-wracking/stress-inducing...

MEETING WITH THAT TRANSFER SCHOOL!

Yes, tomorrow's the day and I could not be more scared/nervous/fidgety! I'm probably over-reacting, but the portfolio alone was stressful enough--now I'm freaking out about the actual meeting! This is the final step...I'm meeting with a school counselor, the head of the photography department, and maybe the principal. Then I'm handing in that registration and sealing the deal, baby!

I probably won't get over the initial shock until it's the weekend again, so in the mean time, enjoy this weird outfit I wore a couple of day's ago. Who knew a peach blazer could make 80's neon bike shorts look so right?
