when i first found this image, i was positive that it was of the exact same room i posted HERE. the spaces are remarkably similar, but are decorated differently. juxtaposed together, they create an incredible illustration of how a few tweaks in upholstery and accessories can really effect change in a space.

both rooms integrate fabulous art collections (unconventionally displayed), as well as a mixture of classical antiques + modern elements, and strong, focused pops of color. they both walk that fine line of feeling modern without seeming cold; they're sophisticated without being too serious. they're unapologetically luxe, but very inviting!

back at my own place, i'm finally to a point where most of the major furniture is in place (still waiting on that couch though), and i can really begin focusing on curating key accessories and layering in color and texture. in other words, i'm getting to the fun part ~ and should be ready to share very soon!
