{ costume of the day } ikea addict
as i've been diligently settling into my new apartment, i've been newly introduced to the wonderful world that is ikea. i can't believe i'd never been there until two weeks ago! for compulsive organizers like myself, it's some sort of heaven.
after that first trip, i found reasons to go back nearly every day for the next week. i now have the most space-saving kitchen cabinets ever imagined, and so many rooms still to go! my latest pilgrimage was yesterday, when i started stocking up on shelving for the new design studio. i wore my current favorite top (it has a match-everything print! and silky drape! and shoulder cutouts!), with a new favorite skirt (pattern + volume + navy! oh my!) and a few standby accessories:
{ tom ford sunnies, the glamourai necklace + bracelets, rachel rachel roy top, vintage gianfranco ferre belt, skirt courtesy of modcloth, the glamourai for coach bag, d+g shoes }
so far, the only downside i've observed of my ikea addiction is the concurrent addiction induced by the snack bar situated at the end of the checkout aisle. it seems i always deserve a fro-yo cone after all that shopping. but really, who doesn't?!
