After five days of late buses, schedule changes and running up and down three flights of stairs between every period, I'm glad to say that I (think) I might have the hang of this new school. Everything's finally falling into place, even if I'm still not used to waking up at such outrageously early hours. It's as if someone has pressed the 'cruise control' setting on the steering wheel of life (ha, lame metaphor alert!) and it's been a smooth ride so far. It's nice to finally get back into routine, but it won't be long until I fall asleep at the wheel (uh oh, another bad metaphor) and crave the need to shake things up a little.
Speaking of shaking things up, I'm thinking of jumping head first into a new activity. I know I've been a bit late getting back with emails and such, and that my free time is really limited between school, work and friends, but I need something new to keep me excited. And keep me limber while scoring the mandatory gym hours. So...hot yoga anyone?
Other exciting things this fall: my brand spanking new Doc Martens, which I got for $12 at the last VV 50% off sale! Yes, you read that right. Sometimes, miracles do happen!
