Last night, Cole and I enjoyed another champagne picnic, till the clouds came to rain on our parade.
Some of you might remember this babydoll dress from my shop. Well, I stole it from there. After it hadn't sold for a few weeks, I felt it was too pretty to be sitting there just to go on sale. So I'm keeping it for myself and I think I'm in love. It's both perfect for now, being loose and flowy, and it will be perfect in winter with thick tights and a warm sweater.
Anyone else out there remember the show, Blossom? All I kept thinking during our picnic was how much my eleven year old self would have loved this outfit. It's a tamer version of all the crazy, quirky looks Blossom used to wear.
Photos by me and Cole. Thanks, darling!

Even though I already thanked her on her blog, Wish Wish Wish, I have to say it again...Thank You So Much Carrie for mentioning me on your amazing and inspiring blog. You are one of the reasons I even attempted this craziness.
Jess had the brilliant idea of letting her readers pick the "intentions." After receiving hundreds of submissions, her readers voted and decided on the following five: Be Present, Be Brave, Breathe,Be Thankful and Dream Bigger. I love that each 14k gold vermeil pendant has the intention in braille on front and the meaning in English on back.
Having worked with Tieka before, Jess was kind enough to offer the Delightful Dozen the opportunity to style our own braille necklace, with the intention of our choice for the lookbook. So can you guess, which intention I chose...
I'm having a surreal blogging moment. The lovely people at Weldon Owen have just released a new book, Style Yourself, which happens to feature yours truly! For more on the book and a chance to win a copy of your very own, read below... I have this habit of buying style books on a whim. Being that I tend to be a bit all over the place, I usually gravitate towards the type that tell me how to streamline my style to a few key looks. It helps me feel less cluttered and more sophisticated. What usually happens after reading these books is that I purge my wardrobe and feel infinitely clutter-free but less unique. The question is how to find that perfect balance of individuality and adaptability. Style Yourself seems to have found the answer. Starting with wardrobe basics (i.e. build your wardrobe, shop smarter and be your own stylist) helps create a foundation from which to begin. From there they help you explore the fun side of fashion with remixes, pattern play and more.

I almost titled this post Unwell Wednesday- Part Two. Weirdly enough, I am sick again. I don't get it. I made it through the long, cold winter healthy as a horse and now in the last week I've been sick twice. Last time it was a cold, this time it feels like I might have the flu. Hopefully, it won't stick around too long.
Anyways, my amazing friend Libs, of Not Here to Please You, posted an incredibly kind interview about yours truly. So please head on over, show Libs some love and read the interview!
