Millicent Launches Forth

Millicent Launches Forth
It was so frightfully cold during this shoot that even Millie couldn't warm me up! By the end my hands were so numb that I could barely grip her handle bars. It was 60 degrees on Monday and I was not expecting it to be in the low 30's and so horribly windy today! Ahhh, how am I going to survive another winter of doing photo shoots in the freezing cold!? While I should be mentally prepared, being that it's late November after all, I'm just not ready for this yet!

Ok, enough griping about the weather. Now I'm going to moan a little bit about my hair.;) Do you all still like it? I can't decide if I do. It's fading and changing and I have no clue if looks good anymore. I think I'm majorly over analyzing it, but I seriously can't make up my mind. And it's not that I even want to go back to my natural light brown color, now I'm not even sure if I like that. Haha. I'm just a big ball of confusion. As always, your sage advice is most welcome.

Tomorrow I'm off to my parents and then Thursday is the day I stuff myself on mashed potatoes, candied yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and lots of pie!! Being not a huge fan of turkey, I still can't help but have a small slice!

I am so honored and totally baffled that Lulu Letty was named one of the Fashion 100! Wow. So crazy. Obviously, if it wasn't for all of you there would be no Lulu Letty. So Thank You for being the best readers a girl could ask for.

Style Yourself Giveaway!

Style Yourself
I'm having a surreal blogging moment. The lovely people at Weldon Owen have just released a new book, Style Yourself, which happens to feature yours truly! For more on the book and a chance to win a copy of your very own, read below...
Style Yourself
I have this habit of buying style books on a whim. Being that I tend to be a bit all over the place, I usually gravitate towards the type that tell me how to streamline my style to a few key looks. It helps me feel less cluttered and more sophisticated. What usually happens after reading these books is that I purge my wardrobe and feel infinitely clutter-free but less unique. The question is how to find that perfect balance of individuality and adaptability. Style Yourself seems to have found the answer. Starting with wardrobe basics (i.e. build your wardrobe, shop smarter and be your own stylist) helps create a foundation from which to begin. From there they help you explore the fun side of fashion with remixes, pattern play and more.

Imogen at Como Park

Imogen at Como Park
Last week, Cole and I took our bicycles for a ride around Como Park. It was one of those perfectly gorgeous evenings that make summer so wonderful. We rode around till my legs felt like jelly, which sadly takes no time at all, then stopped in various pretty locations to snap some photos. I'm wearing a Tulle dress designed by my lovely friend and Delightful Dozen pal, Dear Beatrice. I own a few other pieces that she's designed for both Tulle and me. Needless to say, Beatrice is extremely talented!

Is it weird how much I love Millicent? I truly missed taking her out for a spin when I was sick. She's just so beautiful, that I get such a kick just looking at her. Ok, now I do sound weird. ;) But in all seriousness, she is my dream bicycle.

There were so many speeding pickup trucks on the road that we decided it would be safer to take Millie on this field. It was safer, but not easy to ride around on. I had a hard time steering on the grass. In that last picture I'm laughing because I almost ran over Cole!
