Good morning and happy mid-week lovelies!

The return of fall means the return of many things to me. Fabulous fall fashion, apple picking, strolls through the green markets, cooking, wine tastings, hockey. But it also means the return of my desire to entertain. After a long summer of casual beach house gatherings, now is the time to step things up a notch.

Dinner parties are suddenly calling my name. Time to break out the china, pour some fine wine while cooking up a storm all while being dressed up to the nines. Sounds like a party! Care to join me? :)

Happy Friday, loves! It's my favorite day of the week again. Looking forward to getting away for a few days of fun in the sun. This weekend we're heading out to the Hamptons for a friends birthday party and some beach time. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous so it should be a great weekend. Happy mid-week, lovelies! Hope you're all having a fabulous week. Thank you all so much for the sweet anniversary wishes. All your kind words really touched me :)

As I mentioned yesterday I'm having a busy week and of course my mind is already dreaming of the long weekend ahead. We're not going to the beach this weekend so I'm thinking of other things to keep us occupied. I know I want to be outdoors and I'm thinking a garden party could be a perfect way to celebrate this weekend.

My favorite day of the week is here! Off to work for a few hours and then I'm kicking the first official weekend of summer off in perfect fashion. Happy Friday, lovelies! So happy it's finally the end of the week. Now normally on a weekend like this one, it's going to be hoootttt!, I would be headed straight for the beach but instead I have to head on upstate for a christening so I'm going to miss out on that action. Family obligations, you know how they go...I'm hoping to try to squeeze in a little fun at some point.

What are you all up to this weekend? Any fun plans?

One of my favorite things about the summer is all of the fabulous parties that take place. BBQs, rooftop parties, picnics in the park, you name it, I never miss them.

But nothing beats the swanky pool parties. You know the ones where you get a dressed up to sip cocktails and nibble on some finger food all while pretending that you lead this oh so glamorous life. And that maybe, just maybe, that you actually own the fabulous home that the party is being held at. You know what I'm talking about right? OK if I'm alone here then call me a dreamer :)

With the weekend that marks the unofficial start of summer being just around the corner, my mind OFFICIALLY goes into summer overdrive {not that it hasn't been already :)}

We have 3 days to fill with fun this weekend and of course I'll be thinking beach, pools and BBQs, but I'm also dreaming of driving on out to the island for a lovely summer soiree at one of the majestic estates. Loving the thought of getting myself all dressed up and ready to mingle outdoors with some fabulously entertaining people.

What do you all have on tap this weekend? I know this is a day early but it being a big weekend here in the states, I figure some of you may already have some plans :)
