Weekend Wishes

Happy Friday, darlings! How has your week been? I've been complaining nonstop for days so today I decided to give you a break :)

I'm so looking forward to this weekend. Going to complete the shopping, mail out my xmas cards, finish decorating, wrap presents, plan my menu and on top of all that, get a little bit of rest. How's that for optimism?

What are your plans for the weekend? Hope you have a fabulous one! xoxo

Paradise Bound!

Happy Friday, lovelies! I hope all of my American friends had a lovely Thanksgiving yesterday. I don't know about you all, but I'm stuffed and done with eating for a while!

I don't know how great the timing is being I just celebrated Thanksgiving again but you know what, I'm excited anyway! It's finally time for me to peel off that old winter coat and catch some rays! I catching a plane on down to paradise this morning! I'll be in St. Thomas for 10 days but don't worry, I won't be leaving you high and dry. I've lined up some amazing guest posts from some of our favorite bloggers to keep you entertained while I'm gone. And you never know, I might be popping in every now and again to say hi while I'm away :)

Hope you all have a lovely week and enjoy the gorgeous guest posts! I'll miss you all but I'll be back hopefully with some good photos to share on December 6th.

xoxo

Have A Reflective Weekend

Happy Friday, everyone! What do you all have on tap this weekend? Ideally I would love to have a leisurely, relaxing, reflective weekend but that's not my reality this weekend. I'm hosting Thanksgiving for J's family on Sunday and our nephew who's in college is coming to stay at our apartment Saturday night so it's work, work, work all weekend long.

No complaints though. It'll be well worth it to spend time with family and to eat some delicious food. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and this year I'll get to eat the meal twice! Once with J's family and then with mine on Thursday. Lucky me! I might not be feeling too lucky on Friday though when I have to get into a bathing suit on vacation. Oh well, it's a time to be plentiful, right? :)

Have a fabulous weekend!

At Last!

Good news, it's finally that day! Happy Friday, lovelies! Can't wait to come home from work, put my feet right up and go into complete relaxation mode. Vegging on the couch, lounging around in bed, you know what I'm talking about....

Planning on a quiet night, some little chores tomorrow during the day and then I head out to Long Island for the night. Dinner with my family at a fabulous French restaurant Saturday night followed by my cousin's engagement brunch on Sunday. Should be a perfect weekend :)

Hope you all have an amazing one! xoxo

Welcoming the Weekend

Good Friday morning, lovelies! So happy the weekend is finally upon us. I don't know if it's me but the weeks seem to be getting longer and longer lately. Guess it has to do with the lack of sunlight. Hope I'm able to soak up some sunshine this weekend.

Not much on the agenda this weekend besides celebrating my sister's bday tomorrow which should be a ton of fun. Otherwise I plan on chilling out and doing basically nothing!

What do you all have on tap this weekend? Have fun whatever your plans! xoxo

Ready. Set. Stop!

Happy Friday! Only one more day of work to get through until a weekend of leisure starts. It's been a long week filled with much running around and I'm really looking forward to a stop in the madness. Planning on lots of lounging around, strolling the city and taking a little drive to visit family.

What do you all have planned? Hope you all have a great one whatever they may be! xoxo

Folliage Take Two!

Happy Friday, lovelies! The weekend's finally here and I couldn't be happier! I'm finally feeling all better and am ready to take on this foliage I so long to see. Planning on heading out on a little excursion with J, my sister and brother-in-law to pumpkin pick, sip some cider, eat some caramel apples and at long last spot some magnificent foliage.

What do you all have planned this weekend? Hope you all have a lovely one!

Foliage Filled Weekend

Happy Friday, darlings! TGIF big time this week! I don't know if's just me but for some reason this week has felt painfully long. Might be because I've kind of had a bit of a bug for a few days but I've been forging ahead and not giving in to being sick. And that's exactly what I intend to do this weekend. No being stuck indoors for days for me. I've got big plans!

Dreaming of leisurely strolls in the city, perhaps hitting up the green market or some other fun fall activity that I'm bound to find. Oh how I just love autumn in NYC.

Also I'd love to take a little drive out of the city to check out some of the foliage. I don't want to miss it this year so I'll drive as far as I can until I find some :)

Finally I am looking forward to a sneaking in a little downtime. A few extra hours lounging around the apartment is always good for the soul. And I've gotta get some rest in there somewhere, I guess.

What do you all have planned this weekend?

Have A {Fancy} Weekend!

I know I'm not alone in saying this, but I just love the weekends. It's a time when you can relax and unwind and get back in touch with yourself. Usually I tend to dress more casually on weekends, but every now and again I think it's fun to pull out all the stops and have a dressy day. There's something so nice about putting the effort into it when you don't HAVE to look that way. I find that since I have more time on the weekends that I'm able to put more thought into my outfits so the finished product can be that much nicer or more interesting.

Do you ever dress up on weekends or do you prefer to stay casual all the time.

Hope you all have a wonderful one! Any interesting plans?

Happy Friday, lovelies and happy first day of fall!

Wow, what a week this has been! I'm so excited to come have a nice quiet mellow evening tonight with J. We haven't had much QT together lately and we have a somewhat busy weekend on tap so I'm definitely going to cherish the quiet time tonight.

What do you all have planned for this weekend? Whatever it is, I hope you have a great one!

xoxo
