Hahaha. Me being a third of the Rice Krispies trio for Halloween--who would've thought? I don't know about you, but I never used to take Halloween this seriously. Well...there was last year, when I dressed up as a "lumber jack", and in the fifth grade when I was a "Fashion Police" (I actually attempted to arrest people), but whatever!

This year, my friends Queenie (aka Snap), Nikki (aka Crackle) and I wanted to dress up in a group of three. We came up with a bunch of other trios--the three musketeers, three blind mice, Beyonce & the Single Ladies--but we evetually settled on this unlikely crew. The main reason being we couldn't get our hands on leotards fast enough. Otherwise, we'd totally be doing the Single Ladies dance right now! As for who got to be who...I instantly picked Pop because I knew I had this red silk blazer lying around that would look great with my riding boots. Queenie claimed Snap because she had a white shirt, and Nikki chose Crackle because she "wanted to wear denim on denim".

All in all, I think our costumes looked fantastic, even if I do says so myself! The foam hats I made for Snap and Pop ended up looking great, and when the three of us walked down the hallways at school, we got a ton of compliments. Good job team :)
