TODAY IS THE MOST LIBERATING DAY OF MY LIFE.

After working the CRAPPIEST shift at work yesterday (which required me to stay there until 2am and then wake up feeling like a bag of shit) I realized something--enough is enough! I've had it up to *here* with the terribly stressful shifts, the crap management and overall corruptness. WHY ON EARTH am I still working this damn job, when I could be off doing something that is both enjoyable and beneficial to my chosen career path?! Like, oh, I don't know--nurturing my love of photography and fashion?!

So I've decided to put in my two weeks notice next week. NO MORE OF THIS NON-SENSE. But wait, there's more.

As if deciding to quit wasn't liberating enough, today I also [finally] told my mom about my blog (!!!) Doing this was a really big deal to me, frankly because I was scared shitless--there's nothing worse than a raging mother threatening to shut down the one aspect of your life that you really really care about. I was pretty much scared of how she was going to handle it, and didn't know what to expect--was she going to freak out about all the pedophiles lurking around the internet just waiting to prey on me? Was she going to ground me until I was a senior citizen for not telling her earlier? Or was she going to be really proud and supportive?

Luckily, she was proud and supportive and only had minimal concerns (on whether I dressing "too suggestively" haha) All in all, a most wonderful day!

I guess I'm just happy/relieved/proud that I finally grew the balls to do it, and glad to know I'm free to follow whichever way the path leads me, with the full support of my parents. Life is good!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Honestly, how perfect are Grace's polka-dotted (or is it hearted) tights? Need me a pair...and again, sorry for the quickie post--I'm short on time and low on inspiration at moment.

BUT ONE MORE THING...A happy birthday goes out to Zoe and Erika who just happen to share the same birthday! Hope you girls both have an amazing day, you deserve it:)

GOODBYE SUMMER.
I bid you adieu!

'Cause today was the first day of school. As far as how good it was, lets just say today I made everyone do the hip-thrust during the name game in english/history and that I'm looking forward to french "theatre" classes :)

OH. Grade 11 is going to be SWEET.

SUMMERLOVIN

Okay, so remember my summer to do list? Well I've finally refined it after hours upon hours spent dreaming away to the sound of The Strokes / Neon Indian / Wavves on repeat. I've also gathered some summer inspiration (aka the visual stimulation to accompany the music and the day dreams) to go with my list.

Oh you don’t regret a thing
Because it was fun at the time

You wish you could just leave behind
