{ pinkpony }

{ tom ford sunnies, ralph lauren pink pony polo, f21 skirt, badgely mischka shoes }

today i'm synching my costumery with 100 other bloggers (including my dear friends the beckermans, who wore their polos so adorably!) + ralph lauren to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their pink pony campaign, which spreads awareness and raises funds for the fight against cancer.

{ above via caillianne beckerman }

since its founding in 2000, this organization has raised over $40 million, and tomorrow, ralph is kicking off a three-week-long charity auction HERE, with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit this important cause. you can also send just $10 to the fund by texting PINKPONY to 501501. i hope you'll find a way to get involved ~ big or small!!

{ save the date } a glamour-eye styling soirée

pen it in!! this saturday, september 25th, i'll be hanging out at the newly redesigned + reopened club monaco in westchester, new york ~ doling out free styling advice to anyone who's interested!

i'm really thrilled to be a part of this party. it's going to be a delightful day full of dressing up AND doing good, because 10% of the event's sales will benefit go pink ~ an amazing organization created and run by westchester-area teens to combat breast cancer. i met the (17 year old!) founding members at a recent planning meeting, and was so moved by their maturity and sense of social responsibility. so, if you don't come out for me (or the fun festivites, or the gorgeous clothes), please come out for them!! their cause deserves all of our support!

let me know in the comments if you think you'll be able to stop by. i LOVE meeting readers!

{ real good lookin }

as i mentioned yesterday, i had the great opportunity of collaborating with famed fashion designer josie natori to co-design my own, one-of-a-kind dress for the coach collectibles launch party. and now that very frock can be yours!

honestly, it's incredibly to part with it. in every way, it really is my ultimate dream dress ~ from the silhouette, to the print, to the lovely memories that were made in it.

but when i heard the passion with which josie talks about her intimate involvement with women in need (she's been on their board since 2005!), there was absolutely no question of my keeping it. i've been very blessed in my life ~ especially lately, it seems ~ and i felt this was an unmissable opportunity to share my good fortune with those who need it even more. at the very least, i hope to raise awareness of this noble organization's efforts ~ but to be able to offer them some serious dough would be even better!

thus, this oh-so special dress will be up for auction on ebay for the next week. please bid generously ~ because the only thing that feels better than looking marvelous is doing something great for someone else! that being said, i can't promise that i won't get in there and try to buy back it myself!!

---

UPDATE 06.17.10: this auction has now ended. thank you to everyone who bid ~ together, we raised over $700 for women in need!!! i am so proud to have such fierce AND philanthropic readers! you all really are the best. xoxoGlamourai

{ bvlgari } save the children

{ eryn brinie dress & bulgari ring }

today i'm pleased to be teaming up with bulgari, proudly wearing their iconic save the children ring. save the children aims to resolve the ongoing struggles children face every day — replacing poverty, hunger, illiteracy and disease with hope for the future. this sterling silver and black ceramic band is the physical symbol of bulgari's commitment to their cause, of their devotion to providing quality education to the world's neediest children. it's available HERE, with $75 of each sale going directly to this worthy mission.

it is an honor to help spread awareness for their endeavor, and a joy to do so alongside many of my own favorite editors and bloggers, as seen in this photo gallery. if you'd like to learn more about save the children, including ways that you can get involved directly, please click here.

{ jewels } for japan

like the rest of the world, i am shocked, saddened and sobered by the devastation that continues to ravage japan. i know we all want to aid with whatever means we are able to offer, which is why i've just stocked my store with an enormous array of lovingly handmade jewels (including the pieces seen above, which i wore for monday's style story), with a pledge to donate 10% of every sale to the red cross' japan earthquake and pacific tsunami relief fund. if you're not inclined to shop, i would still encourage you to give whatever you can by clicking HERE.

{ glamporium morn } little lovelies

{ above left: emerald crystal + marbled metal talon necklaces hang together / above right: lapis carnelian + octagon carnelian teardrop necklaces hang together }

lately, as so much of my days have been spent chasing a certain bunny rabbit around the dog park, i often find myself wanting to wear more modest jewels {albeit lots of them at once}. therefore, i've made a squadron of simple necklaces ~ designed to be layered together ~ so you can wear them as uncluttered or as ostentatiously as you please!

please note: remaining true to last week's pledge, i will continue to give 10% of all sales to doctors without borders
