Happy Monday, you cheery, cheery people! Oh, what's that I hear? You're having a crappy day, now are you? Monday Blues, is that what you call it?
To be honest, I was kind of dreading today too, having had two papers and a math project due and all. I'm not sure how I somehow managed to finish them all today in record-breaking speed--I did one paper in 1 hr 15 mins--but after I handed them in, I felt so much better!
Anyhow, for those of you feeling just a teeny bit down today--say no more! This post is pretty much bursting with pictures of the beach in Nice, Gelati in Florence, the Tower of Pisa...a perfect cure for the blahs.
DAY 4 NICE, FRANCE
Ah, Nice was freaking gorgeous! It's definitely one of my favourite cities to walk around in and get caught up in the moment:) I don't know what it is about the city that makes me love it so much...perhaps it's the fact that the beach is so close, the shopping is awesome, and the boys are cute?
Anyways, the first thing we did was get on the tour bus and visit Fragonard, the world famous perfumery. It was fun, we got a short tour, and afterward, we got to shop their huge selection of perfumes...mmm, heaven.
Then we headed to Monaco for a relaxed tour. We got to walk around the shops, see the church where Grace Kelly was buried, and watch the guards change.
Afterwards, we headed back to Nice for some much awaited free time! Three or four hours this time, and I enjoyed every minute of it. We had plenty of time to go to the beach, shop around, and people watch--one of my other favourite things to do. This was definitely one of the best days on the trip!

DAY 5, FLORENCE, ITALY
I was pretty bummed to leave Nice, one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited, but at the end of this day, it wasn't so bad--Florence turned out to be another one of my favorite cities!
We left Nice pretty early because it was another really long ride. We made a hell of a lot of stops at Agips along the way, but we also stopped in Pisa to go see the famous leaning tower! It was pretty rad in person, and my friends and I had a laugh trying to do those touristy pushing-up-the tower the tower pictures. I do wish we got a chance to climb it though.
After Pisa, we got back on the bus and didn't arrive in Florence until very late in afternoon. We walked around the city for a bit, and went for some of the best gelati I've ever had before dinner. The gelati made us all little crazy though, and we were hyper all through dinner (now those pictures I won't be posting.) All in all, a good day!

DAY 6, FLORENCE
On the second day of Florence, we got a short and sweet walking tour of the city, and afterwards, we were given a bit of free time--not a lot, maybe a couple of hours, but it was enough to drink in the Florentine atmosphere. My friends and I checked out all the shops around the Palazzo della Signorias, took loads of pictures, had more gelati, and even had some time to go to an internet cafe.
After the free time, we headed over to Sienna for a nice afternoon. We learned about the boring stuff like banking--who knew Siena was so big into banking?--but we also had some more free time to shop, take pictures and explore the place. It was pretty sweet:) After that, we just went back to Florence for another relaxed, fun night.
