AQUAMARINE

Even though I consider myself to be a seasoned pro when it comes to thrifting, it's still a rare and cherished moment when I come across beautiful, well-fitting and not to mention unique items. Cue this aquamarine blazer I found at one of my favourite thrift stores months ago. The funny thing is, I already had a near-identical blazer sitting at home that was just the tiniest bit bluer, but I bought it regardless. Reason? You just can't say no to a gem like this! And I have no regrets whatsoever. In fact, I prefer this blazer over the first because it's a much better fit and its slightly greener hue makes it that much more unique. Anyone else see an aquamarine-bordering-on-mint-and-sometimes-teal blazer anywhere else? 
On the topic of unique, may I also direct your attention to these shoes? I can't believe I haven't done an outfit post with these yet, because I've been wearing them everywhere all summer! These sandals are my go-to summer "flat" (haha, technically it's a low wedge) and are my absolute favourite. I mean, they're BRIGHT ORANGE how could I not?! The fact that their minimalist design in such a bold colour just seems so Jil Sander...well, that's not a bad thing either.

With spring comes spring cleaning, and with clearing out your room/closet comes MORE NEW CLOTHES. Yes, this is the cycle of life...or rather my wardrobe.

Anyways, cue the Value Village 50% off sale and what do we have? OK, yes, lots of vintage finds for cheap--but we've also got a blogger mash-up! What better time for us Winnipeg bloggers to get together than at this crazy sale?
