NEWSCHOOLGLAMOUR

Perhaps it's the sudden change of weather that's got me wanting to dress all Hollywood and glam lately. With Winnipeg's temperatures dipping from +20 to -5 degrees celcius within a couple of weeks, it's getting harder and harder to go outside and find inspiration amongst the dreary grey clouds, not to mention aggressive wind chills! Luckily I was able to squeeze this shoot in last week, when it wasn't as freezing outside (it's currently SNOWING, fyi).
With the big chill coming on, I though it was about time for a much needed spark of warmth and excitement--which just so happens to come in the form of what I think would classify as 'new school glamour'.The combination of old school glamour (cue costume jewelry and fur stole) with a touch of modern minimalism (hello, Calvin Klein-esque dress ) creates a whole new look--one that just happens to be perfect for the dropping temperatures...
