In my 17 years (
and four months and 13 days) on this planet, I've learned that there are many, many things to be thankful for...too many for me to even list. Thanksgiving is the time to recognize how lucky you are to be here on Earth, living a life that you might otherwise hate for the remaining 355 days of the year, but others less fortunate than you would be happy to live. Tomorrow is the day to sit down and think about every single thing you have and truly,
truly appreciating it.
So be humble and thankful today--because before you know, it'll be Christmas time and everything you thought you were thankful for will no longer be adequate because you'll be too busy making a wishlist to appreciate it!
TEN THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR:
1. My 'privileged' life in Canada vs. the one I would have had if my family hadn't emmigrated from the Phillipines 2. My family's constant love and support! 3. All of my friends, new and old, who are all very awesome and supportive in their own ways:) 4. For all the places I've been and the places I dream of going 5. Everyone I've ever had the pleasure or displeasure of meeting--thanks for shaping who I am today 6. All of the teachers I've had who saw my potential and challenged me to do my best 7. Three, consecutive weeks of glorious, glorious autumn weather 8. My current job (and heck--even my old job that taught me real the value of money!) 9. All of the amazing oppurtunities I've come across since starting this blog and 10. All of my lovely readers for your much appreciated support! Whether you've been a long-time follower or a recent visitor, thank you for taking the time to stop by :)
Hope everyone enjoys the wonderful (long) weekend!
