{ the home front }

as i mentioned on monday, i'm in the midst of moving into a new duplex apartment/design studio (one floor's for working, the other's for life). it's a messy, sweaty, manual endeavor that's required any sort of sartorial style to sit backseat for a few days. i plan to return to my well-groomed roots (and regular blogging) before the end of the week, but in the meantime, my head is swarmed with decorating daydreams!

the new space is fairly modern; i plan to finish it out in a clean palette, juxtaposed with plenty of warm, quirky charm. here are the spaces that inspire me most at the moment:
