If you were to ask me what the most bizarre piece of clothing I owned was, my answer would be this floral jacket. To be frank, I actually detest wearing floral print. Once upon a time I used to like it, but I've since passed that phase, and anything floral repels me now like oil on water. Why? Flowers are delicate, girlish and romantic--and let's face it, those are the last three words anyone would describe me by!
So how does that explain my love for this jacket? Simple, it mystifies me and I am in awe of its...weirdness. I mean, how crazy is this print? Never before have I seen a floral so loud, so colourful, so aggressive and so in your face! It's everything a dainty liberty print isn't, yet it's still technically a floral. Print aside, it's a truly strange article of clothing. It has every feature you could possibly imagine--it zips up, has pockets, a drawstring waist and it has a freaking hood--all it needs is an outlet to plug my iPhone into and I'm ready to go! And my final reason? Wearing it requires little effort, just throw it on and go! I love clothes that can speak for itself.
