come back here, man give me my daughter

A lot of the time while I'm editing photos, I'm either listening to music or humming a tune that's stuck in my head. While working on this particular post, I had that awesome PJ Harvey song, you know the one from the mid 90s, on repeat in my brain (big fish, little fish...) and I felt it made a dandy title, if a little dark. Teenage Maria used to think that song was perfectly depressing.



Erin and I got to spend one last evening with Annie before she left for Chicago! We snapped some sunset photos at one of my favorite Mississippi River spots, then headed back to my place to chat. I am going to miss Annie and wish we could have spent more time together, but I'm so excited for her new adventures in grad school. I think a little road trip to Chicago is whispering my name...
