{ costume of the day } birds / bees / flowers / trees



current favorite frock. this is what i wore on easter sunday in texas, and also to last week's minnie mortimer party at scoop (the night these photos were made). i'm obsessed! the bird print reminds me of spring's unforgettable miu miu collection (from which i scored this brooch). i inherited my darling dress from my very good friend joelle, via brook+lyn's closet swap. though the swap was swamped with stylish stuff, i only had eyes for it.

the first time i wore it, i didn't think it could get any better, and yet the second time i loved dressing it up with my new copper corsage necklace. it made the look a bit more spontaneous and springlike. the patterned clutch and glitter-trimmed shoes go with everything; they were in on both go-rounds.
