the above photos were taken back in february, when the snow drifts behind my house were over 3ft high. these have finally melted away (thanks to a few ferocious rains and the occasional, teasingly-balmy day), but overall the weather hasn't gotten much warmer this march. anyone else exasperated?! optimistically, i've been doing a lot of online browsing for strappy sandals and swimsuits. just wishing i could be right here:
